OMODA & JAECOO Global Sales Surge 123% as UAE Deliveries Exceed 6,000

OMODA & JAECOO recorded a 123% year-on-year increase in global vehicle sales in September 2026, supported by rising demand for electrified vehicles. The growth comes as the automotive brand expands its international presence and prepares to unveil the all-new OMODA X crossover on October 20.

The company’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 53,957 units during September, marking a 184% increase compared with the same month last year. The figures highlight the growing contribution of electrified models to the brand’s international expansion.

In the UAE, cumulative vehicle deliveries surpassed 6,000 in September, since the brand began local operations in February 2025.

European Markets Drive Growth

OMODA & JAECOO continued to expand across key European automotive markets, with the United Kingdom recording particularly strong growth.

The company registered 22,296 new vehicles in the UK during September, a 106% year-on-year increase, giving it a monthly market share of 6.37%. The JAECOO J7 was the country’s best-selling new-car model for the month, with 10,813 registrations, according to company figures. Its registrations reached 39,473 during the first nine months of 2026, placing it second in the year-to-date model rankings.

Italy recorded 4,678 registrations in September, while Spain reported 4,010. Electrified vehicles accounted for 98% of the brands’ sales in Spain during the month.

The company also plans to establish a research and development centre at UTAC Millbrook in the UK. The facility will focus on chassis development and advanced driver-assistance systems.

OMODA X Set for Global Debut

The next phase of the brand’s expansion will include the global debut of the all-new OMODA X at the OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit in Wuhu, China, running from October 18 to 24.

The crossover will be unveiled on October 20 during OMODA X Night. Developed around the company’s CROSSVOLUTION design concept, the model combines sports-car-inspired styling with rugged SUV characteristics, featuring sharp geometric lines and a futuristic exterior.

The summit will also showcase the OMODA Super Hybrid Marathon and Super Intelligent Experience Lab, highlighting developments in hybrid powertrains, intelligent driving and in-vehicle technology. The group’s AiMOGA intelligent robotics initiative will further demonstrate its work in artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction.

UAE Deliveries Pass 6,000

OMODA & JAECOO’s UAE operations have continued to grow, supported by an expanding dealership network and aftersales facilities. The brand has showrooms in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, alongside spare-parts and service support.

Its local vehicle range includes models equipped with the Super Hybrid System (SHS), which combines petrol engines with electric propulsion to improve fuel efficiency and driving flexibility.

The JAECOO J7 remains a key model in the UAE portfolio, offering intelligent driving features, everyday practicality and an SHS variant. In September 2026, the company also introduced the OMODA O5 HEV, expanding its range of fuel-efficient vehicles for UAE motorists.

Focus on Intelligent Mobility

OMODA & JAECOO is preparing another technology announcement in the UAE towards the end of 2026, centred on its Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) technology.

The planned announcement reflects the brand’s wider focus on intelligent mobility solutions as it continues to expand its vehicle portfolio and technology offerings across international markets.
