Lucid has introduced Air UX 3.0, a major software update for the Lucid Air that brings a faster and more intuitive digital experience to the electric sedan.
Inspired by the interface introduced in Lucid Gravity, the update improves navigation, media, profiles and vehicle controls while making frequently used features easier to access.
Air UX 3.0 is included in Software Version 2.11.0 and is delivered through an over-the-air update to eligible Lucid Air vehicles.
Faster and More Intuitive Controls
Air UX 3.0 introduces a redesigned Home experience on the Left Cockpit Panel, featuring swipeable cards that place frequently used functions within easier reach.
Drivers can access media, vehicle controls, calls, saved home and work destinations, and nearby charging stops directly from the Home screen. When certain features are active, temporary cards appear on the Home screen, while a swipe opens the full app on the Pilot Panel.
New Quick Controls allow drivers to swipe down from the top of the Pilot Panel to access frequently used settings and controls.
The update also makes it easier to move between navigation, media, vehicle controls and apps across the Cockpit and Pilot Panel displays.
Improved Profiles and Security
Air UX 3.0 introduces faster profile switching and gives the Primary profile more control over linked keys.
The update also provides an easier way to reset the Guest profile. A PIN-protected process for exiting Guest mode and six-digit PIN authentication add further security.
Smarter EV Routing
The updated dual-screen navigation system introduces features including Favorites and Auto Dark Mode.
Drivers can also customise EV routes according to their preferred charging networks, charging adapter compatibility and the minimum range they want remaining when they reach their destination.
Wider Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Air UX 3.0 improves the performance and reliability of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while expanding both experiences across the full right side of the Cockpit Display.
The wider interface provides more space for making calls, listening to music, getting directions, sending messages and using other phone-based features.
Both wireless and USB connections are supported.
Availability
Air UX 3.0 is available as part of Software Version 2.11.0. Eligible Lucid Air vehicles began receiving the over-the-air update on September 29, 2026.
Model year 2025 and newer Lucid Air vehicles can receive the update over the air. For model year 2022, 2023 and some 2024 vehicles, Air UX 3.0 is available with an infotainment processor upgrade.
The hardware upgrade is priced at $950 in the United States, including installation and excluding applicable taxes. Pricing for other markets will be announced separately.
According to Lucid, the update reflects its focus on continuously improving the ownership experience by bringing newer digital capabilities to existing Air vehicles.
