Riyadh, July 2026: Global on-demand delivery platform Lalamove has officially launched operations in Riyadh, marking a new phase in its Middle East expansion and the company’s entry into its 17th market worldwide.
The launch supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to strengthen the Kingdom’s transport and logistics sector and diversify the national economy through foreign investment and innovative technology solutions.
Lalamove aims to support more than 1.7 million enterprises across Saudi Arabia, according to figures from the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Monsha’at. Through flexible and fast delivery solutions, the platform seeks to help businesses improve operational efficiency and strengthen their contribution to the Kingdom’s growing non-oil economy.
Flexible Delivery Solutions for Businesses of All Sizes
Founded in Hong Kong in 2013, Lalamove uses technology to connect users with a broad network of driver partners.
Through its digital platform, businesses and individuals can book deliveries instantly or schedule them in advance. Vehicle options range from sedans for small parcels to vans, pickup trucks and four-ton Dyna trucks for larger shipments.
The platform also offers features including multi-stop deliveries and real-time tracking, helping businesses streamline operations, reduce delivery costs and manage same-day deliveries more efficiently.
Alongside its business services, Lalamove also caters to individuals with flexible delivery options for everyday needs. Customers can use the platform to transport personal parcels, purchases and oversized items through a simple and convenient digital experience.
Building on Global and Regional Expansion
The Saudi launch follows Lalamove’s entry into Dubai in 2025 and the official start of its operations in Berlin in May 2026.
The expansion reflects the company’s continued international growth and the increasing demand for on-demand delivery solutions that can help businesses reduce delivery times and manage logistics costs.
In Saudi Arabia, Lalamove’s launch supports efforts to diversify the non-oil economy and attract foreign direct investment into the Kingdom’s logistics and technology ecosystem.
The move also aligns with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which seeks to establish Saudi Arabia as a leading global logistics hub by strengthening connectivity, supporting private sector growth and encouraging innovation across supply chains and last-mile delivery.
Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Logistics Ambitions
Commenting on the launch, Paul Loo, Chief Operating Officer at Lalamove, said Saudi Arabia holds an important position in global trade.
“Saudi Arabia is a vital hub for global trade, connecting Asia with Europe and Africa. We are delighted to bring our proven platform to Riyadh in a way that responds to the dynamics of this vibrant market,” Loo said.
“Through our advanced technology and network of driver partners, we aim to empower small and medium-sized enterprises to thrive, provide flexible income opportunities for drivers, and contribute to the goals of Vision 2030 by helping build a world-class logistics ecosystem that supports economic diversification and creates quality employment opportunities.”
Flexible Income Opportunities for Driver Partners
Lalamove is also creating flexible earning opportunities for driver partners in Saudi Arabia.
The platform allows drivers to choose when they work and select the delivery orders that suit them, while providing direct access to opportunities through the app.
As part of its support for the local community, Lalamove has introduced a special launch initiative allowing driver partners to retain 100% of their delivery earnings during the launch period, with no commission deducted.
Additional incentive programmes include cash rewards and opportunities to earn extra income through the platform’s referral programme. Drivers can receive unlimited rewards by inviting other drivers to join the platform.
Lalamove also aims to provide a safe and supportive working environment through thorough verification procedures and comprehensive driver training. Smart in-app navigation tools are designed to further support reliable and efficient delivery services.
With its official launch in Riyadh, Lalamove is positioning itself as a new partner in Saudi Arabia’s logistics transformation, supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to build a more diversified economy driven by technology, innovation and private sector growth.
