United International Transportation Company, widely known as Budget Saudi, has announced the launch of Auto World as its third brand in Saudi Arabia’s short-term car rental sector, marking a new step in the company’s expansion across the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving mobility market.
The move follows Budget Saudi’s acquisition of Auto World in 2024 and forms part of the company’s wider growth strategy for the 2026 to 2030 period. While Auto World has built its reputation over 45 years by providing long-term vehicle rental solutions to corporations and institutions, the new business line will extend its services into short-term rentals for both individuals and companies.
The expansion comes at a time when Saudi Arabia’s mobility and tourism sectors are experiencing significant growth. With the Kingdom preparing to host major international events, including the AFC Asian Cup 2027, Expo 2030 Riyadh and the FIFA World Cup 2034, demand for flexible and reliable transportation services is expected to continue rising.
The company said the decision reflects its confidence in the opportunities emerging from Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation under Vision 2030. The Kingdom’s continued investment in tourism, combined with easier access to tourist visas and a growing number of visitors to destinations across the country, is also contributing to increased demand for mobility solutions.
Commenting on the launch, Fawaz Abdullah Danish, Group CEO of United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi), said the expansion represents both a response to current market needs and an investment in the Kingdom’s future.
“Launching a short-term rental service for individuals through Auto World reflects our confidence in the significant opportunities offered by the Kingdom’s economy under Vision 2030,” Danish said. “We are not only responding to current market demand, but also preparing to host exceptional global events that will place the Kingdom at the center of attention for visitors and investors from around the world.”
He added that the company aims for Auto World to become an integral part of a broader mobility ecosystem capable of keeping pace with the Kingdom’s accelerating growth.
With the addition of Auto World to its short-term rental portfolio, United International Transportation Company now brings together Budget Saudi, Payless Saudi and Auto World under its umbrella. The multi-brand structure is expected to allow the company to serve a broader customer base and offer greater flexibility across different market segments.
Auto World enters this new phase supported by its decades of experience in Saudi Arabia’s vehicle rental sector, along with the operational and logistical capabilities of United International Transportation Company. The company believes this combination will strengthen its position as it expands into the increasingly competitive short-term rental market.
The launch also reflects a broader shift in Saudi Arabia’s transportation landscape, where tourism growth, major infrastructure development and a packed calendar of international events are creating new opportunities for mobility providers.
As Auto World begins offering short-term rental services, the brand is positioning itself for rapid growth over the coming years. Backed by Budget Saudi’s wider investment and expansion strategy, the move marks a new chapter for the company and reinforces its ambition to play a larger role in shaping the future of mobility across the Kingdom.
