Goodwood, West Sussex | July 2026: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed the Ghost Savile Row, a unique one-of-one Ghost Extended commission that celebrates the timeless traditions of British bespoke tailoring and the enduring craftsmanship associated with London’s iconic Savile Row.
Designed as a tribute to personal style and handcrafted luxury, the exclusive model reflects the shared philosophy between Rolls-Royce and Savile Row, where every creation begins with the individual. The commission blends elegant automotive design with tailoring-inspired details, creating a motor car that embodies precision, craftsmanship and understated sophistication.
The exterior is finished in a Bespoke Midnight Sapphire over English White two-tone colour scheme, inspired by the classic pairing of a navy suit and crisp white dress shirt. Replacing the traditional coachline is a hand-painted Silver Featureline that subtly references refined accessories such as cufflinks and luxury timepieces. The commission is completed with 22-inch nine-spoke part-polished wheels featuring body-coloured centres.
Inside, the Ghost Savile Row continues its tailoring-inspired theme with Navy Blue and Arctic White leather upholstery, complemented by Selby Grey contrast stitching, piping and embroidered Rolls-Royce monograms. The seats introduce the first-ever pinstripe-inspired run-stitch applied by Rolls-Royce, echoing the elegant lines found in bespoke suits. Arctic White leather inserts on the seatbacks are designed to resemble neatly folded white pocket squares, reinforcing the connection to classic menswear.
One of the commission’s most remarkable features is a hidden embroidery concealed beneath the rear centre armrest. Revealed only when the armrest is lowered, the artwork depicts the square trees in the courtyard of the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood and the shadows they cast. Developed exclusively for this commission, the embroidery uses a stitch style inspired by woven fabric, creating the appearance of cloth seamlessly integrated into leather.
The intricate artwork represents the most demanding single-frame embroidery ever created by Rolls-Royce. It features seven colours, requires approximately nine hours to complete and consists of 250,000 stitches using 1,830 metres of thread. The colourful design recalls the vibrant interior lining often found inside bespoke tailored jackets, adding a hidden expression of personality within the otherwise restrained cabin.
The attention to craftsmanship extends throughout the interior. Open Pore White Wood veneer is paired with Black Wood trim across the dashboard, steering wheel and centre console. Even the smallest controls receive bespoke treatment, including leather-wrapped indicator stalks, climate controls and volume control finished in matching Navy Blue and Arctic White leather.
Additional bespoke touches include illuminated treadplates featuring the same hidden embroidery design and custom umbrellas stored inside the doors. The umbrellas are finished with Navy Blue canopies, Selby Grey detailing and Arctic White handles, completing the tailoring-inspired concept down to the finest detail.
