Honda Racing Saudi Arabia Opens 2026 Hill Climb Season with Back-to-Back Podium Finishes

TAIF, Saudi Arabia, July 2026 – Honda Racing Saudi Arabia (HRS) made an impressive start to the 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship by securing multiple podium finishes across the opening two rounds. Competing at the demanding Aqabat Al-Muhammadiyah course in Taif, the team demonstrated the performance of the Honda Civic Type R and Honda Civic Sport while continuing Honda’s strong presence in Saudi motorsport.

Strong Start in Round One

The championship began with the opening round held from July 2 to 4, where Captain Bandar Al-Sulami delivered an outstanding performance in the Honda Civic Type R, finishing second in the 4A category after a highly competitive race.

In the 5A category, Captain Einas Hamza impressed in the Honda Civic Sport, securing second place among a strong field of competitors. She also claimed second place in the Women’s category, marking a successful start to her championship campaign.

Consistent Results in Round Two

HRS continued its momentum during the second round, held from July 16 to 18, with another series of podium finishes.

Bandar Al-Sulami once again showcased his consistency by finishing second in the 4A category, earning his second consecutive podium of the season.

Einas Hamza maintained her excellent form by securing another second-place finish in the Women’s category, further strengthening her position as one of the championship’s leading competitors.
